Project Objective
The objective of this project is to engage you in Civic Life and the 2012 election. You will be challenged to find and organize information. You will also have opportunities to participate in a real election, and evaluate the results, including the impact of voter turnout and demographics
The Project
You are to create a weebly education website related to a non-presidential, national, state or local candidate running for public office in the 2012 general election
Project assessment
The project is worth 55 assignment points
10 points for setting up each page (home, bio, beliefs,campaign material, results)
20 points for completing each page
15 points for insightful, analytical results page
10 points for including weebly multimedia items, 1 per page worth 2 points each
2 extra credit points (up to 10, for each of the following, picture with the candidate, communication from the campaign, invitation to a big event, proof of volunteering fotrthe candidate's campaign, a signed 10 question interview with the candidate)
